I've tried a couple of alternatives to address the problem, but I've never been able to find a solution that works well.

You are explaining it perfectly well, and I completely and wholly agree. not that much of a problem since switching from one item to another doesn't really have a crafting cost, but still hope you get what i mean, since i have no idea how to explain this in english lmao. you need to always use a specific item to determine what shade your block will be, but JEI pulls all the blocks that share their tags instead of showing you the specific one you need. Ībsolutely love this mod (as i've said on another comment i made last year here haha), just one problem: JEI is completely useless for it.

Textures of vanilla plank s, however, changed in 1.14.4. Wallpapercraft textures were originally made for 1.7.10.

If you can get by with just slabs and/or stairs, do so. Please be aware that memory requirements will go up, perhaps significantly.īe especially mindful that walls in 1.16.3 and above are particularly egregious in their demands for memory. It's just the way Minecraft works, and it's the price we pay for doing things 'The Vanilla Way'. When you multiply the block count (even excluding glass and lamp versions) by "possible variations of that block", the total number of models created grows quite large alarmingly quickly.

Walls are available at Wallpapercraft - A Fresh Roll (Walls!)Ī note on the add-on mods. Slabs are available at Wallpapercraft - A Fresh Roll (Slabs!) Stairs are available at Wallpapercraft - A Fresh Roll (Stairs!)
